Procrastinating is not fun once you think about it, The daily motivation quote i had today in my daily blog

Which was

“Procrastination is the fear of success. People procrastinate because they are afraid of the success that they know will result if they move ahead now. Because success is heavy, carries a responsibility with it, it is much easier to procrastinate and live on the ‘someday I’ll’ philosophy.” ~Denis Waitley

Really spoke to me after reading and posting that, i realise blogging is part of my progress, with some challenges wanting blogs to be done, it actually got me thinking which blogs are needed to be done ... so came to think of it my Falling for Fitness blog for end of the week with Done being the fat girl, and of the 2 sparkpeople challenges i do for summary of that week, and 2 Aspire and Inspire Buddy System Group challenges. As well as my daily and weekly blog today. I plan to do my weekly blog as my last blog for the night before i go to bed, somehow i was so knackered with writing my daily blog, i felt like that would of been it, but that quote kind of sprung at me and gave me a kick on my back side with a flint of energy lol, so i just kept going. Whilst i am on the roll i might aswell continue with the 100 day weight loss journey and jouralling from the heart. No more procrastinating Aithley! lol.

I was born a procrastinator and will probably be a procrastinator until the good Lord calls me home! LOL :) I think the biggest change in my life is that I am putting myself first in certain situations, which does tend to alleviate some of the slacking and putting things off. Goal setting has become a favorite thing for me, too, so that when I accomplish something (no matter how big or small) I feel like such a winner :)
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us!

That quote REALLY spoke to me today! I seriously think that the reason I keep going back and forth with the same 5-7 lbs this past couple of months is me self-sabotaging and procrastinating because I am afraid of succeeding in my weight loss. And I'm afraid of succeeding because then I'll have the pressure of maintaining. But I am selling myself short on my capabilities and I CAN do it ... both the losing the weight AND the maintaining. And I'm going to just DO it, by golly!!!
Okay ... you have officially inspired an epiphany for me ... emoticon emoticon emoticon SO much for posting this quote and for not procrastinating with your blogs today emoticon

I had never thought of procrastination as being fear of success. I had more of an idea it was fear of failing. You know putting it off because I might not do it well enough.

Thanks for the quote.
