I love my new scale - at least today

Friday, November 16, 2012

We all know that we need to use the same scale to test our progress. Scales can certainly vary. It is always interesting to see how the doctors office scale varies from your home scale. Today I bit the bullet and went out to buy a new scale. My old one was being inconsistent. I initially had a way to low measurement. I reweighed myself and it was significantly higher. I weighed my self repeatedly getting a weight that ranged about 3lbs. So as soon as Bed Bath and Beyond opened I went over and bought a new one. I bought a Weight Watchers Scale. It immediately gave me a 1 lb loss. It is my new favorite scale. I was actually relieved, I was afraid it would go up by a few pounds. My old scale gave me body fat %. This one does to. Although that was higher than my last scale. I also displays water %, bone mass and BMI. Here is hoping I make its job lighter and lighter and lighter.

If I buy a new scale I'd like to get one that syncs with SparkPeople like my Fitbit does. One less thing to enter. That is one fine scale you have to give you a present of one pound!

I feel certain you will make this scale's job lighter! You continually do awesome! Shoot, I'm just happy my scale weighs me in tenths! The bad thing is that it says it all out loud!

Good luck with the new scales. Wow! I don't know if I could keep up with water weight. All of that tracking sounds mind blowing for me. (LOL) I always look at my ankles to see if I have water weight. (LOL) I don't think I want to know all of the info. I am still weighing on the old type of Doctor scales with the weights that you move back and forth. I just can't break down and get the new style yet. I really don't want to get rid of the old scales. I guess that I could have two scales to weigh on. Then I could take the lowest reading. (LOL) Well, sure glad you were down in weight on the new ones. That is a lot of the reason that I don't want to get a different scale. I don't want to know if I weigh more than my old scale reads. I am doing good as long as the number is going down. You do have me wondering about the % in the body fat, water, and so on. Have a wonderful week-end. Hugs, Judy

Sounds great. I hope you become your scale's best friend.

P.S. I was gonna make a dumb comment about stepping on a fish, but I guess not. emoticon

I love my scale and thankfully, it's pretty accurate with my doctor.
