The De-Cluttering, Is Going Ok, So Far Day 1.

Friday, November 16, 2012

The de-cluttering, is going ok, so far i, seem to have, accumulated & found, carrier bags full, of empty Wine, Bottles & empty Diet, Cola/Lemonade, Bottles 2 as well as, empty Lager &, Beer Cans 2, plus empty Spirit, Bottles also 2. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

This puzzles me, as when i, bought these Bottles, & Cans etc, i thought that, i had thrown, them out straight, away this is, not like me, to hold onto, empty Wine Bottles, empty Diet Cola, /Lemonade Bottles, empty Lager &, Beer Cans &, empty Spirit Bottles, also 2. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

My Family would, say that this, is a case, of me being, having the illness, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, (OCD), & i think, they might be, right they thought, i had this, before but i, denied it cos, i didn't want, to believe it, was true but, now i think, it is totally, totally true i, have (OCD). emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I think we all have levels of OCD in us. Some people are just better at calling these compulsions "habits" than some of us!

It could have been the depression as well. Or maybe you put them there when you were done drinking all that lager, beer, wine & spirits and you just forgot because you were hammered (yes, drunk!). LOL!

It's amazing what we do when we are not really paying attention to ourselves... or while we are trying to forget things!

What can you learn from this experience? A) What good did it do to keep them? B) All of those drinks were empty calories you didn't need, so if you don't buy them you won't drink them and won't have the bottles/cans cluttering up your space. C) You've lost track of what was around you. Taking stock of your external space can help you see what is inside you. D) Sometimes we need others to help us see what is in ourselves. Your family is concerned about you because they saw what you couldn't and it took for you to really look around you to realize they might be right. So asking for external help is a good thing to help give you perspective.

When we don't want to see, we don't look.

If you have a way to get those to a recycling place, could be a nice extra bit of coin. If not, it's still going to be a lot more space for you!

OCD can be a good thing if you use it in a positive way. Use it to be more concious of your nutrition, fitness and other healthy habits!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Everyone has OCD. Just some have it more than others. My mom has an extreme case. She just keeps shopping for things she does not need, or use but she keeps saying she will use it. It was very clear to our family that there is emotional issue when she yelled at her pregnant daughter (me) and told me that she hates me and I hate her if she I want her to give up her things. I keep asking for you to get help but it is like talking to a wall. Now that you are aware of the emotional ties with your OCD get help. It does work. I know because I am like that too.
