When it occurred to me that brown sugar - being less refined than white - had more magneium (the nutrient I recently started tracking) - and MOLASSES even MORE - I talked with my daughter Abi (AKA RAPTORMELON) about using either of these instead of white sugar in my coffee. We observed that these two healthier forms were more COSTLY than the white, and puzzled why it should be so, since they had to be processed less, so they should actually COST less. Then we observed that the better something was for you - less processed, organic - the more it costs. Why should this be so?
We concluded, it's a plot to get rid of us poor folks. Only the rich could afford to be healthy.
