Cell Phone Frustration!

Hubby tried to use his cell phone and got this message, "Your phone has been deactivated." So, he asked me to try to see what was going on. I got the same message. So, I made a service call with the phone, which we had to do while traveling in a local town because we have no cell service here. One of the questions she asked me was, "Do you know you are being charged minutes for this call?" That was after she told me we were deactivated. emoticon

I told her the phone listed my minutes and my time to run out was January 28, 2013. We added the time and minutes and had not been able to use the phone. She wanted to know questions about the phone I could not answer because I was using it and wanted to know if she could call me back on another phone. Luckily, I had my cell with me and gave her the number. She called me back and after 23 minutes of trying to get Hubby's phone reactivated, using my minutes on my cell to activate she wanted my birthdate. I said, what for? She said she had to reput all of my original information back into the system to reactivate me, which she was suppose to be doing the previous 20 minutes!! emoticon

I needed to leave the cell service area and go home, so I quit trying to do it.

Later that day I got an email from the cell service asking me to fill out a survey explaining why I deactivated my phone and if I would recommend them to family and friends. They were not kidding!!!

G_R_R_R_R_R_R_R!!!

Time and money wasted! So, the time I paid for until January I guess is lost. Oh, yah, and when I went to their site to try to activate one more time, they deducted about two weeks from the original time for using a "deactivated" phone!

Usually don't blog like this, but frustration needed to be vented!!!

Now, I feel better! emoticon

    Grrr... i would complain bug time and demand all of my lost minutes back!

    Don't know who you have but if you don't have a contract with them then I would go looking for another company that will not deactivate your phone and then charge you for it and don't tell you why it was deactivated

    Oh what a headache. I'd find a land line and call back to create a serious ruckass, that is a bunch of BS.
