Yet again. But this is the last time I'm starting over.
So I realized that I'm reaching this milestone birthday. And I really do not want to stay this way to my next birthday. So, a couple of weeks before the big day I did a cleansing diet to kick-start my efforts. I lost 5.7kg in the 13 days. Then I had an ugly weekend, knowing on Monday I'm starting to eat healthy all the time, and went back up 2kg.
So, now I've been packing lunch to work for 3 weeks.
Non-scale victory 1: I have completed the cleasing diet once before with a friend that I lived with. However, Ithink more than I hundred times I started the diet but never saw the end of day 1. The fact that this time, all on my own I managed to complete it this time, amidst all the temptation that was surrounding me, I know that I am in the right mind set.
So, this is where I am. Gung-ho and in it for the long haul. They way I eat will probably change and I'll go back and forth between low card, low fat, high protein, no meat, etc. until I find what's comfortable. For now I'm focusing on smaller meals of the healthiest variety possible and mornings.
Slow and steady.
