Imagine yourself inside on the couch. Now picture yourself running outside. What do you notice about the contrast between the two scenes? Which scene is more vibrant and full of life? Remember this if you're tempted to skip your workout today.
I can picture this with ease. Where I lived before I had comfy couch with a good view of the TV. It was easy to snuggle on the sofa and stay warm with the laptop. Outside it could be cold but if I dressed right and got out there, within a couple of minutes I would be warm and my dog, Kali would be pulling on the leash wanting to be free and run for an hour or two.
I would come home feeling I had accomplished something and shown my dog love. Seeing her happy and running ahead always made me happy. I was thinking about this today when I shopped for a winter coat to feel warm when I am out walking and thinking about how I got out walking in winter before I moved here. It was reinforced when I came home and read today's Visualization.
Today in Spark Coach I read ‘study found that people who reported increased stress gained more weight if they already had higher body mass indexes. In other words, if you're overweight already, you're even more likely to gain weight when under stress.’ Yes I would agree with that. It’s a dysfunctional way I have learned to deal with stress.

Make a list of three activities that make you feel better and more like yourself, and schedule 5-10 minutes each day to do that activity. Here are some ideas I chose:
• Taking a nap
•• Taking a bath
•• Affection with a loved one or pet
Doing this will not only make you a happier, more balanced person; it will also help you to eat healthy and keep your energy levels high for those workouts. Follow these great tips for a much calmer journey to weight loss!
Today we got our sofa and loveseat for the living room. It’s the first time we have sat in our living room in 16 months. Soon we will get window coverings and other things to make it feel homey.
I had a medical appointment today and am scheduled for a medical procedure for Nov. 26th. I am glad I found a specialist that I trust!
