Random Recipe Makeover

I have not tried this recipe. My makeovers are just random picks from the spark recipe section and I choose the first recipe and in parenthesis type how I would change it if I make it.

This is a recipe representing a dairy company. (this may explain quite a bit)

Banana Blueberry Smoothies from Daisy Brand®

A quick and easy snack filled with healthy goodness!

Minutes to Prepare: 5
Minutes to Cook: 5
Number of Servings: 3

1 cup Daisy Low Fat Cottage Cheese (omit)
1 cup skim milk (omit)
1 cup frozen blueberries, unthawed (try to use fresh when possible)
1 medium banana, cut in chunks
2 tablespoons honey (I'm allergic, but I'd still omit any added sweetener. It just isn't needed)

For a less thick smoothie, try adding an additional 1/4 cup of milk. (soy, almond, or rice milk)

Step 1 Place all of the ingredients in a blender container and cover.
Step 2 Blend on High for 30 to 45 seconds or until smooth.

Serving Size: Makes 3 1-cup servings.

    You are right about omitting sweeteners especially with a banana in it.
