Switched to a walk tonight

Thursday, November 15, 2012

I was quite happy to have my walking buddy come by the house tonight. My elliptical muscles were a bit sore and I'm glad I was able to do something different and still get a decent amount of exercise in. I don't like to walk alone in the dark, so this worked out just fine. There was a slight nip in the air, but that's not bad for the middle of November.

Great time of the year to walk - not too hot and not too cold!

My walking "buddy" is my pug reggie!!! The vet was very impressed with his new slimmed down physique - not the normal puggy pudge!!!

emoticon Will be walking to the Store with Hubby later. It is 52 degrees now, but I expect it to be cooler when we walk. It does tend to make you Step Lively!!

MY walking Buddy is Leslie Sansonne tonight,I wonder about using ellipticals. do they give you a better work out. Do ou have to hold on to something. Are they hard on the Knees. Fred might like to do that we have a 20 year old Treadmill works well but the belt is only 14 inches wide, new ones are 18 and up.Pat in Augusta.
Well done getting company. My three are all away right now. Dark nights ared much harder, our streets are badly lit.
emoticon emoticon Keep blogging it really does help.

I'm doing the same thing tonight...but unfortunately no walking buddy. I kind of like the nip in the air.
