But I can always find a reason... not to work out.
There are a few motivating factors that keep me moving.
Firstly, I get the bulk of my workout done early in the day. I can find too many things that need to get done if I put off the exercise.
Next, I took SP's idea and found a fitness buddy. A complete stranger. One day shortly after I had joined our local health club I noticed a woman talking with the instructor about a class that I enjoy. I went up and eavesdropped and then said to the member that the class sounded like a good idea and if she goes I will go. So, we exchanged cell #'s and almost EVERY morning we text to see which class we are going to.
There were many a day that while I was sitting and enjoying a cup of coffee and reading the paper a text would appear on my phone, " See you in 20 minutes". I would have loved to sit there and keep enjoying my coffee but my fitness buddy got me going. I'ts It's going on 10 months that we have been doing this.
I am lucky to have met this special lady.
And lastly, I am afraid. I am scared that if I don't get my act together that I will not enjoy life, and possibly not even be around. Can't let that happen.
So, exercise has become extremely important to me. I am also fortunate that I have my family's support. It's all up to me, now.
