Taking a teeny break

I should be at the gym right now. I should be on an eliptical machine and then heading to my PiYo class.

But I'm on my couch--because I am tired. Not just a little sleepy, but the kind of tired where all you can think about is laying down and sleeping.

I don't think I am sick. I think that I have not been sleeping well due to allergy issues. And I'm getting stressed out with thinking about weight loss efforts that are not working so well.

So I'm taking a teeny break today. Gonna get some rest, spend some quality time with my spouse and try to get some decent sleep. Hoping and praying this gives me the energy and resolve to get back on the journey tomorrow.

    I think it's good to listen to your body and give it some rest when it needs it. The journey is always there -- ready for us, when we are ready for it. You'll be back at it soon enough!

    Oh dear! I am sorry that you are feeling stressed by your weight loss. We have got to make it fun, so that we are not bored or dreading our journeys. If there is something that I can do to help you, please let me know. But I understand the need for a break. Just a time out sometimes. Mine was yesterday. I was so exhausted from the day before, I just could not motivate for anything. emoticon
