Ooh...I just tried a recipe on the back of the quinoa bag tonight and it was gooood! You toast sliced almonds and the dry quinoa, then cook it in chicken broth (veggie broth? Why not?) with a bay leaf and a cinnamon stick. Near the end, you stir in some Craisins. Really good, really good for you, beautiful and easy. That's a home run in my book!
I love classics like mashed potatoes, sauteed green beans, and baked sweet potatoes dishes. Dressing is probably my favorite out of all the side dishes.
