I can't find where to go to post a blog any more.
I don't like the bar across the bottom of my page which I hide, but it reappears.
Ads pop up and I get a message, "Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close." Then I have to start all over again.
I don't have a lot of time to be sitting at the computer. This site has changed since I joined it and I am a computer dummy. It takes me forever to find what I want and to be able to interact with my Spark friends without my computer shutting down. I have to run CCleaner on it to clear all the stuff downloaded onto my computer.
I know it took me half an hour to be able to find where to post a blog. It makes me feel like giving up trying to use Spark People.
The news since my last blog.
Our son moved out. I am slowly gathering things he forgot to take with him and laying them on the bed for him to take.
We had our eyes examined Monday morning and had no significant changes in our vision. Neither my husband or I had to get new lenses in our glasses. I am thankful to God for that.
We went to Applebees for a free veterans meal last Sunday. We had planned to take advantage of more freebies for veterans on Monday. We were going to have pancakes at Denny's on Monday, lunch at TGIFriday's, and dinner at Golden Corral. Our son wanted to rent a wood splitter and split the logs for this winter's heating season. So we did that instead on Monday and worked from 10:30 AM until 6 PM.
I locked myself out of the house yesterday and had on a short-sleeved shirt. I went to the neighbors and I had to call a locksmith. He said the lock is upside down on the new door in the basement. He had to open the front door to let me back into the house. $75 for my mistake.
My Mom has been having episodes where she slumps and goes into a deep sleep. She had a non-responsive episode Monday, but rallied and was alright later.
If any of you have any ideas and can explain it easily about how to find my Spark page and get to my blog, I'd appreciate it. I am so sick of the "Internet Explorer needs to close" messages and the time it takes for me to try to fix my computer when it does that.
I apologize to my friends for not responding to their comments and blogs, but this is the reason I haven't.
The freezer above our refrigerator cracked and leaked water across the kitchen. We had to wait for a part to come in, but then the repairman found a pinhole leak to the tubing to the icemaker. He said that something else is wrong and he has to order another part. So I have been sopping up water with paper towels and finally put down two bath towels daily to soak it up.
Princess broke a chair to my dinette set. We put it and a stepstool at the landing to the basement to keep her from going down there at will. When we were spitting wood she barged through the barricade and snapped a leg off of a chair. She got out of the yard twice while we had the gate open and were splitting wood with a gasoline-powered log splitter. My husband said she was helping by making some firewood out of the chair.
A man from church called today and he is giving us a free turkey he got from his employer. In the midst of things going wrong, there are blessings to be thankful for. I love Spark People, but I must have missed how to keep following when changes were made, now I am lost.
