Awareness plays such a big role, that I believe goes undervalued in our society. We aren't always aware, all the time, of everything of course- because of course that would be draining. I'm an extremist so I always have to remind myself to balance out whatever it is I'm doing with the opposite. If I'm to be aware, it also means I can't go beat myself up for everything I'm aware I may be doing wrong or could do better at.

I can switch this around by simply saying, well, I can be aware and keep track of the healthy things I do for myself. It can be journaling, eating fruits and vegetables, trying new foods, learning to cook different foods, trying new recipes, taking a walk, stretching, reading an article, looking up calories, etc. (Get the point? LOL)

The important part of becoming aware is to also be accepting of myself daily. It's also about self discovery. I can discover who I've been, who I am, and then I can think about who I want to be. I can learn to love myself the way Jesus loves me-He loves me unconditionally, all the time. I have to learn to love myself that way. I can't take God out of this, He is in everything I do.

So I have an idea that I'm going to fiddle around with in my head and see if I can stick to it:

Start writing down all the good things I do everyday.

My goal is to love myself the way Jesus did, so I need to see myself through His eyes. So reading the bible about His love, and the way He loves me, is also going to be beneficial. I just have to find a study guide to help out with that part.
