My Fall into Fitness 2012: 90-Day Challenge - Ongoing Post
I want to keep a record of the actual journey, wins, losses... I will update as I progress. This will also keep my profile less cluttered.
** My Fall into Fitness 2012: 90-Day Challenge goals are as follows:
9/24/12 to 12/24/12
1. To lose 30 lbs during the 13 weeks.
Track everyday! Stay aware. Don’t go to sleep. Stay connected, reaffirm, LIVE! BE!
10/8/12 - 2 weeks in – 2 lbs lost
11/15/12 - Still Same.
11/19/12 I am down 2lbs, 4 lbs total since 9/24/12. I have tracked everyday.
2. To reduce my BMI from 39.5 to 33.8
3. To reestablish a working out as an important daily ritual
Mini Goals: Focus on awareness and adding exercise, stretching in any free moment anywhere
10/8/12 – I have been focusing on clearing out clutter and getting over cold. I am proud of the past two weeks even though I haven’t yet added exercise.
11/5/12 – I pulled out of a lot of extra activities and really tried to focus on myself and what losing weight means to me. I went to some workshops and classes and really tried to work on the reasons I eat the way I do, the urges, the cravings, and the emotional reasons behind them. I spent a lot of time de-cluttering and organizing my life and allowing myself to love myself. Finally I am feeling the urge to once again exercise, go to the gym, and be healthy. For such a long time inside I wanted to be healthy but I had no energy to care, I had no real desire, it was gone. But now I am once again feeling the need to be desired, to be healthy, and to do it. I am pleased at myself and my progress. Now I want to kick the last half of this challenge into high gear!!!
4. To finish do 2 full yoga routines every day (increased flexibility)
Week of 9/24 – do small yoga asanas throughout the day, morning, evening - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
Week of 10/1 – yoga every morning and night – nothing big or structured just do it - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
Week of 10/8 – structured yoga one time a day, still doing something morning or evening - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
Week of 10/15 – reassess…. NOT ACCOMPLISHED
10/8/12 – 2 weeks in – no change ( still doing Sunday’s light yoga “class”)
11/5/12 – No change, middle of October we stopped Sunday light yoga classes.
11/5/12 to 11/12/12 - do yoga 1x per day - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
11/19/12 - Still haven't moved my butt.
5. To be able to run 30 mins at a time
Week of 9/24 – run for 5 mins each day 1 x a day - DID NOT ACCOMPLISH
Week of 10/1 – run for 5 mins each day 2x a day - DID NOT ACCOMPLISH

Freezing this goal and going to focus on running this week so I can clear a space for my bike and will reassess This goal on 10/15

Week of 9/24 – 1 bottle a day - ACCOMPLISHED

Week of 10/8 – 8 glasses a day - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
Week of 10/15 – 8 glasses a day - NOT ACCOMPLISHED
Week of 10/22 – 8 glasses a day - NOT ACCOMPLISHED

9/24 to 10/4 – BIG GOAL ACCOMPLISHED – Did 10 days of 64 fl. Oz; I never completed this before. Now I just need to complete consistency of this success!!!
11/5/12 – After that big success, I just fell off the band wagon.
11/15/12 - I haven't gotten 8 glasses of water in but I have only been drinking water - I feel this is a success and a step in the right direction.
11/19/12 -- I haven't gotten to 8 glasses a day but I have been eating right, and drinking 99% water.
10. To reconnect / connect with Spirit, feel free, purge and heal the past and after 90 days reassess where my life is going. – RETURN TO BALANCE
- Sit and release past
- Forgive the past
- Heal the past with meditation and reiki
10/8/12 – Two weeks in; I have been working with the past, working on patterns, habits and clearing up the reasons I hold myself back.
11/5/12 – I feel like I am doing a lot of this. I saw a friend I haven’t seen for a while and she said man, you really are doing great with releasing and keeping your energy clean and clear. I feel a lot of work has been done but now I have to build a foundation now that I broke down the past.
11/5/12 to 11/12/12 :
Get my reading material cleared out, clean room
redo personal altar, get daily schedule together and study schedule, start program, reassess strategy
11/19/12 - I feel like I am moving along, cleaning, scheduling, trying -
11. Incorporate more of a Ayruvedic Healing lifestyle: treatments, recipes. In 1/1/13, I want to see a specialist in this to really take on the life style. (added 11/9/12)
11/11/12 - I have been trying to wake up early. I have been drinking my hot water and only water, occasionally an herbal tea no sugar. I am trying to focus on eating local, organic food. I am trying to eat with my hands and in silence. So far.. so good. I bought my first neti pot and am going to try that today. I bought a handful of books and this weekend I am going to TRY and come up with a more formalized plan.
11/19/12 - I have been studying, coming up with a plan and making a group to keep my interest, help me study and help others who want to learn
