Last week was a quiet week with not much going on. I was a little bored at times. This week is the complete opposite. I've been busy doing different things every day. I've come to the conclusion that I have to start planning some sort of schedule for myself. Look for things to do and schedule them for each day in order to have something to do and look forward to each day. Avoid the underscheduled/overscheduled days. It seems to be easier said than done with me. I have checked into volunteering at different places and have not gotten answers back from a few of them. Time to follow up. Time to take time out and think of somewhat of a schedule for myself. This seems to be a hard one for me, but one I am determined to start doing today. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I use a scheduler that fits in my purse and check it 1-2 times a day. Every evening I review my "to do" list and see what I can schedule for the next day. I don't always get everything done, but I have a good idea of what I've accomplished and what I still need to do.

This habit is ingrained, probably because as a retired teacher, I'm used to planning my days. emoticon

Good luck with your plan.

I have to plan my actives with a schedule so it is penciled in for certain days and times.. WHY ....
1. So I don't forget them
2. So they get done
3. So I don't over book or commit
4. So I leave some spare time just for?
5. So I don't stress out over trying to keep it all straight.
emoticon Best Wishes on your plans

I do one to two days a week at the church thrift store and I have an elderly friend that I watch out for.
