I've decided that for the holidays I'm not going to put unrealistic expectations upon myself, but what I desire is to NOT lose the momentum I have gained recently because I'm fully aware of how slippery that slope is. The holidays have always been a challenge for me.
I want this to be the first year that I don't put on weight during the holidays. So I've decided I'm going to blog daily for the week of Thanksgiving and the week of Christmas to keep accountable, and as a potential strategy to stay on track.
Today I am 146.6 lbs. My goal is to weigh less than 150 lbs on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This is going to be difficult for me, but it's a goal. I won't be devastated, however, if I can manage to remain less than 152 lbs by that time. Anything over that means that I made a complete pig of myself!

Today I am traveling! It's not a direct flight so I will be in the air or driving all day. I won't reach my destination until at least 7-8pm tonight. It's REALLY hard not to munch while traveling so I'm carrying these in my purse so I'm not tempted to buy candy or chips en route.
Altogether 170 calories worth of munchies to travel on! Totally appropriate to keep me going between meals.
Highlights- I'm excited about taking my daughters on their first flight! And I found a pair of size 4 khakis that my girlfriend gave me years ago and they totally fit!
Lowlights- I'm going to miss my husband while I'm gone:(
