Almond Joy – do they really bring you JOY!

Tomorrow is step 2 in my husbands treatment for pancreatic cancer…there I said those terrible words that haunt me since he has been diagnosed. He has had the Whipple surgery to remove the tumor that was growing in his pancreas and now he needs chemo and radiation. I hate having to be strong and upbeat when all I want to do is curl up in a corner and cry.

Instead since his diagnosis I have gained back 8 of those precious pounds I have lost and so very slow was able to loss 3. It is just not right that to gain them I have no problem but to take them off is such a slow, tedious battle…

I had done well all day today but this evening all bets are off and I’m stuffing down those Almond Joys hoping not to feel the pain, fear …. WHERE IS THE JOY!!! LOL

emoticon I'm praying for you and your hubby. Don't give in to those Almond Joys....and don't beat yourself up about gaining a little weight back. No matter how far you've gone down the wrong road, turn around and go the right way. You'll be glad you did. I'm here if you need support.

Listen don't beat yourself can only do what you can under severe stress such as your husband's condition. I have been through that with my Dad and Father in Law, so I hear ya......if at all possible try and get out for a good walk.

Your family is in my prayers!
