Good night

Just a quick update because I'm tapping this out on my phone and I hate doing that!

I did get out to run again this morning! I did 4 intervals of 4 minute walk and 1 minute run. The first two went well but the last two I had to stop a few seconds early. I did not time my walk to the beginning of the trail and back home but it's half mile each way. The distance I timed was about 1.3 miles. All of this, of course, is after my usual morning mile walk emoticon

I won't get my morning mile tomorrow because I have to leave so early to take my son for his procedure. Although I'll probably get at least a mile just from pacing! I am so anxious! I know it's just a wisdom tooth extraction and it's simple and the surgeon has done thousands of them but it's still MY boy and a general anesthetic! The complication that landed me in the hospital was a rare reaction to a drug they don't even use anymore. So it's going to be fine. Right?

I'll have both of you in my thoughts. Put your trust in whatever will hep you get through: the doctor, the medical profession, a higher power, etc. I think pacing won't be a bad thing, but keep track of your steps/distance so you can track it. That extra movement will be good. And think about it: pacing is walking, which is exercise, which releases happy hormones, which will help keep you a little calmer. Makes sense, right?

Good work getting your walk in! See, when you make it a priority and work with what you're given you can find a way to fit it in. Keep working at it.
