Walking myself healthy!

Today is day 3 of my new Leslie Sansone DVD. I love it! Since joining SparkPeople I have started exercising nearly everyday, cardio six to seven days a week (most weeks); strength training 6 days, alternating between upper & lower body. I've walked & rode my bike (after knocking the dust off of it) as much as I could, and I do zumba one to two days a week. Then I read another blog about using the Leslie Sansone DVDs and I've always considered it everytime I saw one, so I took the plunge. I love the workouts, I really feel like I've done something, and if it gets too dark out--which it does early these days, I can do this inside my home, with no equipment! I am looking forward to my walks more than I thought I would! This is something I can ALWAYS do, in addition to the rest. I can't wait to see the results!
Some of my inspiration comes from my future daughter-in-law, who competed in her first marathon last month in Portland, and is currently training for next year's, with some smaller races in between. I want to do that! And that, my friends, is something I NEVER thought I would say! This may not even get read by anyone, but it sure feels good to put it in writing!
