Mark Update

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

I figured I'd better post an update on Mark since I posted that I was taking him to the ER yesterday. He was having severe stomach pains - after x-rays and urine and blood work, they decided it was probably stomach spasms, but no idea why. He was given meds and released. He's feeling much better today.

On the good news front: We made it out of the ER just in time to drive the forty five minutes or so to get to his psychiatry appt. Good news being that they wrote his prescription for being out of school until Feb 15 - not just for a couple of weeks - or a month - at a time. That takes a lot of the anxiety out of his life.

We started him with a new therapist on Monday. We'll have to wait to see how that works out.

I hope you all are having a wonderful day!!

I don't know how I missed this! I'm glad that there was nothing serious wrong with Mark's health! That must be such a relief for you. Phew! And I'm glad that he's been given that big chunk of time away from school. The last thing either of you need is more anxiety! It'll be nice for him to have the holidays as a chance to heal. I hope everything goes well with his new therapist!

Very Scary for you and Mark- I'm so sorry you had to go through that - but at least the school thing is working out. Hugs K

Glad that things are going better and the Er visit was nothing serious. As long as he's feeling better, ;)
