On Tuesdays, I meet a friend at the Y to swim together in preparation for our Tri in January. I get there early to run a little bit, and yesterday I did 2 miles in 18:35! I hope I can keep that pace for my 2 mile race on Saturday.
The swimming was ok. I'm never going to be very fast, but I did 500 yd in about 14 minutes, which isn't much slower than my times last year. Then I did the kickboard for another 200 yd. Overall, it was a good workout.
By the way, my friend did her 500 in 8 minutes! I think I can catch her on the bike, and we're pretty evenly matched for running. :)
