So Discouraged

I do not eat candy.

I only occaisionally eat grain.

I only occaisionally eat dairy.

I counted calories for a while and made some lower calory swaps in my diet.

I am getting a full night's sleep a couple times a week now since trying to wean my son from nightime feedings.

I joined a gym and am going about once a week and am making arrangements to go 2 or 3 times a week.

I am not losing weight - I am heavier than I have ever been and am three pounds from my heaviest pregnancy weight. None of my clothes fit me. It's almost time for Christmas pictures...........I don't know what else to do!

  Thanks Alihikes! I have been checked before but that was before baby #2, perhaps things will change - I will mention it at my next appointment.

    Have you seen a doctor? I gained over 50 pounds and couldn't lose anything -- my thyroid had stopped working which threw my whole metabolism off. At least get checked; he/she can tell you if it is normal post baby weight or if there is something simple (like thyroid) that is interfering with your ability to lose weight.
