11/14/2012 - Stressed out

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

Okay, don't need this stress but that's life. My daughter's car was making a weird noise, and we told her to take it to our Dodge dealer where we bought the car. Hubby calls them yesterday afternoon, and we are told the engine needs to be replaced and it will cost $6,000. Who has that kind of money? My daughter doesn't and she needs the car to get back and forth from work. Right now I'm taking her. ugh. The plus side is that by having the dealer do it, it will have a better guarantee, and the dealer will be around for the long haul. LOL I know we can probably have it done cheaper somewhere else but there have been a few garages that went under, so we don't want to take the chance of being stuck if something were to happen.

Yesterday was the second day of insulin, and I got the correct needles. Wow, the needle is longer than the one I use for taking Victoza. emoticon But I'll get used to it I suppose.

My cats decided to knock over my shredder so that they could have some confetti. LOL The brats. Good thing they are so cute.

I will hang in there even if it's by my fingernails.

Hang in there. It must be hard to spend a lot of your time transporting your daughter to and from work. Hopefully this time will pass quickly for you.

Sending loving energy your way, emoticon When things get tough, I often go back to the Serenity Prayer, and to that reminder "This too shall pass." Then I go for a walk outside and breathe deep say some affirmations to help me focus on the positive and the experience I wish to create.

Blessed Be, Amanda emoticon

Hugs and hugs and hugs Denise!

That is a mixed blessing about the kitty confetti...cats reduce stress except when they cause stress. But if you laughed, then you had a double reduction of stress, and in the end, cats (all pets really) make life a better and richer ..now if only the Dodge dealer would accept "kitty rocca" as payment!!!

Remember the quote "Don't worry about the small stuff, It's all small stuff" Keep it in perspective. It's just money and you still have not lost as much as the people in New Jersey or New York. Hope it get's better
