Yesterday I hit the jackpot with blessings.
I received notification from my GI Specialist the Colonoscopy I had done alst week turned out all normal. No problems.
then in the afternoon I ahd an Optholmologist appt. I ahve Glaucoma & Cataracts in each eye. Pressure remains the same (stable) and cataract is not progressively worst.
Wow! Good news!
Today... November 14th marks the one year anniversary that i was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis.
It all began when my daughter came to visit and found my left ee was totally shut. Of course I didn't notice it. I made an appt. for the following day and my specialist saw me every day for 2 weeks and ordered blood work. It was positive for MG.
It was a total shock to me. the only symptoms I ahve seemed to ahve to date is droopy eyelids and double vision. With the drug Mestinon and IVIG once a month for 3 days I seem to be doing well and keeping my eyes open. I have a wonderful support system in family and friends and support groups. I've done a lot of research on the disease this past year but to date i seem good.
I love all of my online Spark friends and am most appreciative of the support you ahve given me.
Have a blessed day.
