Well, it’s the final week of the challenge. Weigh-in is in less than 24 hours. The team itself had some challenges in the beginning, but I think we fared well and overcame in spite of. I am thankful and grateful for each member and what they were able to add to the team, no matter how small it was.
As for my goal, I had set out to lose 10 lbs and reward myself with a Fitbit Zip tracker. It was tough, but I came close, very close. Well, I got half-way there, minus 5 lbs. Maybe more, we'll see with tomorrow's weigh-in. Once I found out that Fitbit and SP were sync able I went ahead and purchased my new tracker. But you didn't reach your goal you say! Nope, but I needed the motivation to push forward. I am really loving this this little gadget. Who knew such a little thing could do so much with very little effort by the user.
I've made some poor choices food wise along the way. At the start of November I had challenged myself to forgo sweets until the New Year, with a few days (celebrations) as exceptions. Well I barely got out of the gate before I fell HARD off the wagon. With that in mind, I've decided to go with "moderation." As well as shop and cook based on what's on sale rather than what I have a taste for. Plan ahead, prep and pack. I don't know why it took me this long to figure that out.
I am looking forward to our mini break before the New Year Winter Challenge begins next month.
