I got right back on track the very next meal after eating out with friends on Sunday and today I woke up to another pound loss so all that water weight is gone and I am actually at 108.5 which is a pound lighter than before the splurge. I will continue to eat healthy and light until Friday when I plan to splurge again when I go out to lunch with my girl friend. For many of you, I must sound like a "broken record" as I know that I write about this and repeat this process over and over but blogging about it helps me do the right thing.
I also believe that by my writing about this that others might learn that this is one way to maintain. That being "diet" eat lower calorie days between the splurges to get some "cushion" weight loss so that one can splurge and enjoy special treats. It seems that I do this process once a week. But when you look at life, eating out with friends is part of life. I am so happy that I finally have a way to manage my weight loss and still enjoy life which includes fun foods

    Moderation and consistency is the key, and I think when we keep practicing it the easier it becomes a way of life..

    It's a strategy. I don't go out with friends like you do, but you have given me some ideas for the occasional social eating splurge. I already adjust the calorie range in response to my weight drifting one way or the other; accounting for the splurge would just be doing the same thing, with a little bigger or a little more sudden weight movement.

    don't mind about your repeat blogging, you are right, it keeps you on the straight and narrow as they say. I got a little reprieve of some warm weather, gonna finish my gardening while it's nice outside
