Attitude adjustment.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012

I need an attitude adjustment today. ::sigh:: I am frustrated that I haven't been able to go to the gym since Saturday, due to circumstances way beyond my control. I'm PRAYING that tonight I can finally make it, but circumstances aren't looking promising for tonight either. ::another sigh:: I can feel my stress level rising. I have relied so much on exercise to boost my mood & to relieve my stress.

The truth is, we all are going to have times of frustration like this -- it's just a part of life. But, in the meantime I need to get rid of this bad attitude. It's leaking over into everything & I don't like who I am with a bad attitude.

So today, even though it's looking like I probably won't make it to the gym again, I am DETERMINED to have a good day anyway.

Blessings to you!! emoticon emoticon

Love the pic and the quote!

You can try playing upbeat music and dancing at home or watching a funny or inspirational show on tv if you have time.

    Then, there's always meditation.

Hope you make it to the gym soon.

Well, life happens sometimes. You'll get back to the gym and back to your normal routine when you're able to! Drink a little extra water and watch the snacks!

I love going to the gym, and don't know what I'd do if I couldn't. But there are two things that help me burn some calories and feel great afterwards when I am stuck at home - gardening (some serious pruning etc) and attacking a cupboard, pulling everything out, and having a huge clean up.

Do you have some secret frustration-busting ideas that you had forgotten about? I bet you do!!

Have an awesome day, no matter what you do!

Love the picture & motivational phrase! Do what you can at home & you'll get to the gym another time. I cannot afford a gym membership & that is what I do.

Isn't it funny that you are stressing about NOT going to the gym (remember when Going to the gym was something you dreaded?) You're growing and changing and have an overall great attitude. Do what you can. emoticon

Just try to relax and center. Control what you can accept what you can't. Take a long walk or do a mini-workout at home. I know you can handle this.

emoticon emoticon One thing I've started is Yoga. Not to do a full session, but to use a little of it's relaxation techniques. It seems to help clear and reset the mind.
