...finally. Not three little letters, but 30 years, maybe.

We finally closed on a house yesterday.
Sparkworld is not aware of the circumstances of our currently dwelling. I kind of inherited it. And it's leaky roof, bad septic system, lack of siding, and multitude of other problems.
We had issues this year due to my husband being laid off for a bit.
We had issues because he wasn't laid off consistently enough (how does that make sense?).
But, we jumped through hoop after hoop, and yesterday, took possession of a key.
And immediately went ripping down wall paper and on a joyous run to Lowes for wallpaper removal supplies, a new lockset, and, a new Christmas tree.
There's a lot of work ahead. I will be scrubbing carpets among other things today. We hope to be moved in by Thanksgiving, but are awaiting the new fridge we ordered, figuring out the couch, and realizing that we can't fit a king bed up the steps (bummer).
A lot to do, but a lot to love, it's cute, it's big enough, it's on a dead end street, and it's 2 minutes from where I work.
