When I joined the gym, I was strongly encouraged to set some goals. As I was completely out of shape and got winded walking up a flight of stairs, I set the goal of "running for one minute on the treadmill." It seemed more fantasy than anything.
Well anyone that follows my blog at all knows I have been ramping up my walking speeds. Tonight the gym was completely empty so I decided to go for it. I ran for TWO, count 'em TWO whole minutes! Now to those that run for 30+ minutes, this may seem like nothing. To me, this is another giant step on my lifestyle changing journey.
