Day 324

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Oh time really does get away from me.... Can hardly believe Thanksgiving is next Thursday and I haven't shopped for food in so long. Don't have a single solitary thing for the big meal next week. I'm gonna have to somehow find the time for a run to Sam's & Walmart to stock up. We'll have Thanksgiving here for our son & his family so I better get some stuff real soon.

Seems like this morning there were a number of things that derailed and distracted me so I didn't get to do the big hill until after my last bus route. It's much better to get that done first thing in the morning. Maybe I learned my lesson!! Went to the woods with the poles to do the rest of the cardio hiking - it really was a nice afternoon - a little cool, but still nice. Did a strength training session tonight - core; upper body.

Again a big thanks to everyone for taking the time to stop by and leave your wonderful comments on my blog. I appreciate every single one of you so much. You've helped me more than you'll ever know on this journey and I'll always be indebted to you for kind words of encouragement. I couldn't have done this without you.

Hope your Tuesday was great and that you got a good workout in!! emoticon

I haven't bought a single item either...and I'll be out of town all weekend for my son's wrestling tournament. Hope the stores aren't picked over...

Yes - Thanksgiving seems really early this year. I am having it with a group of people from my church - I am cooking a turkey and others are bringing potluck dishes and desserts .. will try to avoid over eating - not having the pies at my house will be a big help!!

I hope you are able to have a Thanksgiving meal that satisfies you family, is not problem to cook, and is spark-friendly. Is it even possible?
