As the holidays are quickly approaching, I find myself more determined to reach a 50 pound loss by 2013!
I have been very motivated lately and there is nothing I want more than to reach that goal. I am only a few pounds away......and I know it's been a long journey (10 months now) so far, but slow and steady is a good thing!
Sure, I've hit a few bumps in the road......most of August was a plateau for me.......quite depressing I must add......but I overcame it and dropped an additional 15 pounds or so......
There is nothing more exciting than having your clothes literally hang off of you! And the best thing that happened to me was buying a pair of skinny jeans! In a size 12 to boot! Although, I have to admit that I still have a hard time remembering that I am not a plus size anymore......I literally have gone from an XL to a Medium......
I think that motivation is the key to weight loss. As well as the commitment to live a healthier lifestyle. I never thought that I would be able to maintain a daily workout, either......but I have! Goal setting is huge too.....small goals have worked for me......they are much easier to reach when it's only 20 pounds.....once you surpass the first 20, set another goal for 20......it is very gratifying!
Anyway, (rambling here) once that motivation kicks in......you are pretty much good to go......and that's where I'm at right now......extremely motivated to finish this goal......and who knows? I may set another 20 and that'd be it!
So, stay motivated my spark friends! We're all here to support one another and reach our goals together!
