Trying to lose weight? If you think that opting for skim over whole milk is going to help, you may want to reconsider.

As Minnesota freelance journalist (and sometimes MinnPost contributer) Paul Scott explains in an article published in the May issue of Details magazine, skim milk may be actually putting your waistline — and your health — at risk.

    I have never drank skim milk. I just can't bring myself to do it. I do, however, drink 2% milk. I grew up drinking nothing but whole milk and that's what my mom and dad still drink. My DH on the other hand, grew up drinking 2% and that's what he wanted when we married. I got used to it at that point and that's what I continue to buy. Wonder if this would convince my DH to go to whole milk? LOL
