The worst of the symptoms are gone. No more fever, general mental fog, or aches. Now if my sinuses would just dry up already!
I'm raring to get back to the business of getting slim, fit, and healthy. Obviously, I'm not overeating as I lost weight over the past week, but I haven't *moved* in 7 days now. Not even for a walk. I just could not.
I will walk and stretch each morning for the remainder of the week and see how I feel over the weekend. If I'm feeling good, I'll restart C25K next Tuesday and cross training (Kinect) on the other days.
I will have to walk/run the first 5K on December 23, but I'm okay with that. Just the fact that I'm participating is enough for me!
Oh, hey! I learned today that I'm doing it right, by the way. When I "run," I take short, little strides, not great, big, leaping ones. Turns out, that's the correct way to do it to avoid injuries. Yay me!
