Chocolate calls my name!

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

I did it! I survived Halloween and all the chocolate candy that is part of it. I indulged in a piece here and there, but didn't consume anymore than that.

But today, chocolate seems to be calling my name. I had 3 Hershey kisses, but i still here it whispering my name. I am out of caffeinated diet soda, so maybe it really is the caffeine calling. I'm feeling really tired today - that whole body tired. I don't dare have any more than 3 kisses, because i can picture myself eating the whole rest of the bag.

Maybe i will try some chai teas with truvia and a little milk. I just want the chocolate to stop calling my name!!!

Smiling and delighting in your discription! I like my three Hershey kiss rule per day but sometimes I just have to have more and my best" filling the call" is in home made mocha...8oz coffee, one packet diet hot chocolate mix and 1 Tablespoon Sugar free creamer [I like vanilla caramel] add another 8oz hot water...makes a full pint of hot, sweet tasting, chocolate flavor and fills me up. Keep on trying to win the battle.

    Good job!!!!

and yes, chocolate calls my name . . . and uses the same tone of voice my mother did when I was in trouble "Cathy, get yourself over here!" But I gotta RUNNNNN!

I have a chocolate 'fix' first thing every morning by adding fat free hot chocolate to my coffee. It's only 20 calories. Along with a bit of Torani carmel sugar free syrup . . . .yummmmmm!

I only eat dark chocolate, and it seems to calm down my cravings better with 25 grammes when I could eat the whole 100g with milk chocolate, . Lindt Excellence 80, 90 or even 99% work well. I also like the black Valrhona, my favorite (only at Trader Joe's).
I actually even found a "chocolate tea" ( Guayakí Yerba Mate Chocolatte ) ...no calories! guilt free!
The diet I follow is made by a doctor, he said that chocolate is actually good for the health, and we can replace a fruit by 25 g of chocolate, one in a while.
