It is very easy to go from day to day stuck in "status quo". Many of us have done that well. A plan is what is needed to move from status quo forward on the road to "Health & Fitness".
P - Participation - Do you have a challenge group or team for accountability and diretion? Do you read blogs and articles at Sparkpeople? Do you join in team challenges? Do you use the different parts of the VAST Sparkpeople website?
L - Liquidate - Do you drink your water? If you drink caffeinated beverages to you drink equal amounts of plain water to offset? Are you moving to water as a beverage of choice? Do you track your water?
A - Activity - Are you getting strength training and cardio? Do you push to increase intensity and/or length of cardio sessions? Are you doing more reps of ST or using heavier weights? Do you have a sedentary job? If so do you get out of your chair every hour and elevate your heart rate (taking stairs, walking briskly, marching in place etc.)?
N - Nutrition - do you know your calorie range? Have you adjusted it for your current activity levels and weight? Do you track your food and eat in range? Do you weigh and measure your portions?
This is very doable but you need a plan and you need to put your plan into action. You can do this!
