2+ Years Here

Monday, November 12, 2012

I have been browsing through my teams, looked at my very first blog, looked at Secrets of Success, etc for the past hour or so...My spark hasn't gone out; my continuing walking habit attests to that fact. Yet I need to add some kindling, because my life has been raining on the fire for the past few months. It's okay for the fire to be banked sometimes, but I don't want to lose the spark entirely.

I need to get better about increasing servings of fruit and veggies again. I need to get back to the planning for meals, especially planned leftovers or freezer meals, that I enjoy doing.

I need to follow through on a craft project - I have several in the works - that helps me to relax.

In spite of a very stressful situation with a close family member, I am fairly pleased with the continuation of some healthy habits. I just need to do better and I will.

I think we all go thru some back sliding on our journeys. I have been off plan for a while also. You can do it Tammy. Just take it One Day at a Time. You have already changed a lot of bad habits. emoticon and never Give Up. I believe in you. ((Hugs)) Irene

You are doing a great job of hanging in there and continueing to walk despite the family drama going on. Life does seem to throw up road blocks but you have found your way around and will continue moving forward. I'm so proud of you.

We've all been there!! Just remember that you've taken the "first steps" and that you are ahead of anyone who is still sitting on the couch!! You've had a lot of family stress and that can some times put you on a plateau. You'll make it. Just emoticon

We all have those times where we sort of tread water - and if you've stuck to your plan for more than two years in spite of life's ups and downs, I think you've done well. emoticon

Sounds like a good reflection and do-able plan.
