This is getting a little easier, especially if I take the time to plan my meals. I even successfully navigated a reception @ work with many tempting treats....but my little baggie of almonds and bottle of water saw me through the worst of it. And my pedometer app on the phone counted almost 8900 steps today! Granted, I took a lot of extra 'trips' that I normally wouldn't have but I'm on a mission to get to 10K. Talking about my weight loss and overall health goals to peers at work has helped, too. They know what I'm trying to do and are being supportive, mostly. There are those who try to say "you are fine the way you are"....but I remind them that I'm not looking to become a Brazilian bikini model, just a healthier 'me'. We'll see how that goes.
