...was fun! My parents came for breakfast. So I had all my kids and my parents at the house together. That was so nice. I always regret that my husband misses most of these meals. I appreciate his hard work so much. I can't say how much I love and respect him.
After breakfast it was just me and the kids. Nick and I beat everyone at the card game KEMPS. Then later on, Nick, Kelsey, Matt, Sara and I went out for lunch. Afterward, we played a game called BUZZWORD. It's really fun. I had they joy of being on all three winning teams. :) I just love playing games with the kids. I missed the boys badly last night after Matt went to work and the other two went home. I treasure every minute I get to spend with them.
Okay, we'll break down the food here. I was pretty happy. I didn't go over my calories at all and I was winging it all day. Didn't track calories until the end of the day. So here goes: breakfast: some rosemary bread, butter, a little fruit, a biscuit and a couple of strips of bacon. Lunch, a piece of fried fish, some applesauce and green beans. Supper: Not much of an appetite after all that food. Just had some grapes and some chocolate. I love fruit and chocolate!
Exercise was not in the great plan, I suppose. I had a great morning, jumping around cooking that big old breakfast (and it was enormous)! I made biscuits, gravy, bacon, fruit salad (well, my mum made that) yogurt (um, okay, stoneyfield made that) scrambled eggs and rosemary toast, tea, coffee (okay, dad made that hee hee) orange juice, grapefruit juice, apple juice and milk! Yum. Anyway, sometime after breakfast, all my joints went down on me (stupid colitis!) and my good knee tore up. So I was on the recliner most of yesterday. This joint pain is such a beast! Grr... It was still a good day though. Not only did I get to spend it with the kids, but my sweet hubby came home! Yay!
Well, speaking of him being home, I'm going to spend the rest of my evening with him.
Love and Blessings to all...
Here is a picture of my kids. The two older girls are my daughter-in-laws to be, Justine and Kelsey. I love every single kid in this picture to pieces!
