I didn't expect people to read my blogs lol! I suppose I should give a bit of background as to why I don't use my legs to exercise much and other things about me.

Back in 2008, I was hit by a drunk driver who had pulled a u-turn on the freeway. It was a head on collision that sent the engine up into the car and onto me. I broke both my legs. After 4 years, multiple surgeries and constant pain and struggling, I am still working on functioning semi normally and getting my life going.

I have yo-yo dieted. The heaviest I've ever been is right now. Because it is so hard for me to exercise, it is super easy for me to gain weight. If I don't track my food, it is way to easy for me to think that I havn't eaten as much as I had.

I need to loose this weight. I have multiple health issues that are exacerbated by my weight, which my legs are one of the main ones. My boyfriend is great, and super supportive. He started here at Sparkpeople a few days before me and motivated me to join him. A change needs to be made and I hope this is the first few steps to a better, healthier, more active and less painful me.

    It's good that your BF is also in the mindset of living a healthy life....that will help a lot having that support. Keep up the good work and you'll be feeling healthier in no time! emoticon
