We feed the children that come to our church. They usually arrive hungry and I learned a long time ago that they won't listen, until their tummies are satisfied. I keep cereal on hand and try to find cereals that aren't full of sugar. One time, a little boy ate 5 bowls of cereal so I have to limit them to no more than 2 bowls for breakfast. Another Sunday school teacher makes toast.

This morning, one of our 6 yr olds finished his first bowl of cereal and a piece of toast and says, "May I please have another piece of toast? I've never had toast before. Seriously, I've only had toast at church." That was so sad to hear a little child say he'd never had a piece of toast before.
