Day 1 Paleo

Breakfast:
1 egg + 1 egg white
Mushrooms and Spinach
2 oz top sirloin
1 cup coffee w/1 T almond milk

300 calories?

Morning Snack:
1/4 c. Raw energy mix (raw nuts and raisins)

200 calories

Lunch:
1 slice Paleo bread + 1 T almond butter
1 c. Homemade applesauce (yum!!!)

300 calories

1 pack of GU during long run:

100 calories

Recovery Snack after 10 mile run:

Lara Bar
1 c. Coffee w/1 T almond milk

250 calories

Dinner:
Chicken stew
1 c. Almond milk

400 calories?

Dessert:
1/2 c. Coconut milk ice cream

150 calories


So, 1700 calorie estimate for the day? Not too bad. Calories were kind of high due to my long run. Considering I probably burned around 1000 calories running 10 miles, I am happy with this. I am liking this way of eating so far. I found some great recipes online, even for Thanksgiving
that I can't wait to try. Blogging from my phone, so gonna keep of short. I just think it will help to write down what I eat so I can see it in writing. Weighed in at 130 this morning. Gonna check again next Sunday to see if I need to adjust my food.
