November goals as promised

I realize that 1/3 of the month is already gone. And that Thanksgiving is 11 days away. But I figure it is never too late to set some goals for myself, and the best way to keep myself on track it to go public.

emoticon Get moving more! I've been slacking in the fitness department lately. Call it daylight savings, call it family craziness, call it what ever you want. When I move I feel better. As a start I need to run at least 3 times in the next 10 days as I have a Turkey Trot coming up!

emoticon Put myself first. I've noticed lately that I skip exercise because I'm waiting on someone else or I accommodate others and sacrifice my opportunity to workout. No more!

emoticon Plan food at least 3 days ahead and read more labels. I had a can of Trader Joe's Chicken Chili w/beans on Friday. Then I tried to give blood and my BP was 130/102 (normal for me is 120/80). I went back and looked at the nutrition information and found my lunch had over 1600mg of sodium! Yikes. Resolved then and there to eat more fresh foods and fewer canned goods!

emoticon Pamper myself. DIY mani/pedi or mud masks go a long way to make me feel good about myself. I think one might even be in order tonight!
