Life is so short

Sunday, November 11, 2012

Where I live, there was an explosion in a neighboringarea. Unfortunately, 2 people were killed & a few were injured! One minute, everything is fine, then the next minute everything is not! My prayers are going out to those families involved in the incident!

I have to thank God that me & my dog are fine! But I ask God to give strength, peace & comfort to those families who may have lost a loved one or one of their loved ones is in the hospital due to the accident. They really need His presence now!

Incidents like this has to make one really take stock of his or her life. What is really important & what is not? What really matters & what do we need to let go of? What should we focus on & what should we put aside? Do we tell our loved ones that we love them daily, because you never know what life may throw your way?

Life is too damn short!

I've also heard alot of support at the church and with donations. I know the animal shelter was gearing up to keep any animals they found wandering also. What a mess! I am also glad the injuries were not worse. Prayers for everyone. And you're right-life can change in an instant.

You are so right. We need to take stock often to determine what matters and what does not.

Prayers are with those who were affected by the blast. My son & family live close to the area where it happened - they felt the blast too, but didn't know what had happened. Thankfully they are all safe.

    Very good blog.
