This is going to be a slow process...

Sunday, November 11, 2012

I'm really getting excited this week for a couple of things to come. I ordered the fitbit that should be here any day now. I think this will give me an actual proof of the lack of moving that my body does on a dailly basis. I give myself too much credit on that front I believe. On wednesday I have a meeting with my running coach so I am really excited about that too. She is going to help me run pain free this time. My short term goal is to be able to get up in the mornings before work and run 3 or 4 miles. I can do that! My long term goal is going to finish a half marathon and maybe more?? Who knows! Exciting things happening this week...
I would like to see myself lose about 78lbs. I'm definitely not starting at the best of times but "all things in moderation", right?? These first two weeks are always the hardest but I can do this. One week down and one more to go. This is going to try every ounce of patience that I don't have. This is going to be a long process, to accomplish my goals but the result will be oh so sweet!
I've overcome quite a few things that my life has delt be so far and now I'm going to buckle down and focus my energy on becoming a healthier version of myself. I have faith in myself and I know that I can do this. Bring it on!

Yes, you can do it. Even making the affirmation to yourself helps motivates others. That's why I love SP! emoticon and don't let the holidays get you. emoticon
