I have this theory, you can do anything for 14 days. You may agree or disagree everyone is different, but if I set a short term goal for two weeks I have the will power to do it. So my trainer talked with me about doing a two week program for her. Week one is all about low carb and sugar. I can eat whatever I want as long as by the end of the day my net carb count is below 15 carbs and my sugar is below 5g. It has been an eye opening experience. I did not know that Turkey had sugar in it. I would just assume that green veggies had no sugars. hmm, I am learning how to follow this program. I have to follow it for 6 days, i get one day off to eat what I want and then I have to eat high fiber for a week.
I have already made it through almost 4 days. 2 more days of low carb and then Wed I have the day off! Thursday High fiber. I can do it! Really for two weeks I can do.
So far I have passed the temptations of take out. I passed on birthday cake and icecream and cookies and brownies. Everytime I pass on something, I feel so empowered. So strong that I said no. Last night my friends came over and were drinking. I just drank my water. Oh, did I mention you have to drink half your weight in ounces. Yep that makes me at 116 ounces or 14.5 8 ounce glasses. Yes, I had to go to Wally World and buy extra TP this week.
