Update/Progess

Between friends and my doctor I've heard a lot of good things about Medifast. I spoke with my trainer at the gym who advised me not to do it. Instead he put me on this nutrition plan where you choose favorable protein (salmon, turkey, lamb), favorable carbs (celery, strawberries, etc.), and favorable fats (almonds, avocado, olive) rather than unfavorable carbs (corn , bananas, potatoes, bagels, pasta, etc.) and some obvious items like alcohol, most condiments, and junk food like potato chips and ice cream.
I've been following this for a few days now. I really like it because I don't feel deprived. With this plan you focus mostly on having the carbs and protein equal about the same after each meal. So far, so good. We'll see how it turns out. In the meantime I've been doing awesome with hitting the gym. I made it 4 days last week, and am hoping to beat that this week. Even though I still have my belly I can feel abs (it's so weird!) and my legs and back are becoming toned to where I can actually tell :) My weight hasn't really fluctuated lately but I am definitely losing inches!
If anyone who reads this lives in Louisiana in the Acadiana area I highly recommend going to Q-fitness where Justin (the owner and lead trainer) can help you get to where you want to be. They genuinely care about their clients and put everyone on their own individual plans. I LOVE it!
