Jamie Eason Live Fit Progress Update - Last day of Week 5

So I made it through FIVE WEEKS of the Live Fit Trainer. I will post my pictures soon, but here is the progress on my stats:

Weight: 143 (From 147 - Down 4 lbs.)
Chest: 37" (Stayed the same)
Waist: 27" (From 29" - Down 2")
Hips: 39" (From 40" - Down 1")
Biceps: 12"/11.5" (Stayed the same)
Thighs: 24.5"/24" (From 25"/24.5" - Down 1/2" on each)

Overall, it has been challenging. I had to amend the diet because it was simply TOO MUCH FOOD. I was feeling sick to my stomach.

So I stopped dieting!! For the past week, I have been eating whatever I want.. which is what I normally do). The other day I went out for Thai food, and ordered chicken Satay and Chicken/Shrimp Pad Thai. Then went to the Cheesecake Factory and got Peanut butter chocolate cheesecake with whipped cream. Sounds horrible!! Loaded with fat, sugar, sodium... you name it! But I only ate one piece of chicken Satay, half of my Pad Thai, and I split the Cheesecake. This isn't something I try to do for weight loss... I don't think about it.... they are just my habits. I eat small amounts of food because I eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm satisfied.

And yesterday, I had a bacon/egg/cheese for breakfast, then didn't eat all day because I wasn't hungry. Then in the evening I got hungry about 8pm, so I got Smartfood Popcorn and Peanut M&Ms.

I also love cheeseburgers and and pizza, but I NEVER finish my burger or eat more than one slice of pizza.. unless I haven't eaten much all day and I'm really hungry. Again... just my habits! Not something I have to consciously try to do.

Going back to my initial reasons for doing this, I made the decision to focus on fitness/muscle building because I want to be fit. I don't want to be a soft little twig! I want to be lean and strong.

THE PROBLEM??? When I focused on eating healthy I actually GAINED weight at first. This is my hypothesis: I began living to eat instead of eating to live. Once I relaxed on my nutrition plan, I quickly lost the weight...and even a few pounds extra. Crazy - but I am skinnier when I eat whatever I want.

I am naturally petite, and eating is not "emotional" for me I guess. I think that if I continue the NEW workouts, and couple that with my OLD eating habits then I will quickly be back to my normal weight with some sexy muscles.

    WOOHOO on completing week 5. Yay YOU is right on those results. Glad to hear you have a healthy relationship with food. Although I have a past ED, I also do not have a problem overeating at meals. My problem is often times that I do not eat enough. Have adjusted to MORE food though. I am selective though:)
