I think I had the Ah Ha moment as Oprah would say.
Do you ever really think about what you are eating? I mean really think about it.
There is a difference. Sure we all know how many calories are in the food we eat.
We all know how many fruits and vegetables we need .
Protein - check - Water -check .So far so good. Why are we eating this food?
We need these nutrients for a healthy body. Lets take it one step further. Carbs found in all plant food supply the body with the energy. Protein and fats are essential for growth and development. Water keeps us dehydrated.
I was about to eat a cookie the other day and a thought occurred to me. What is the nutritional value of this cookie? Simple, there isn't any, so why on earth would I put this is in my body? It serves no purpose. We would never put sugar in our cars. Cars can be replaced HUMANS CANNOT BE REPLACED.
Now, I am really thinking before I put anything in my mouth. It works. If there are more than 2 words in the ingredients don't eat it. So simple.
