Day 23 - 10th November 2012 - Celebration

Daily Note

Ok i didn't burst my bubble with exercise today, I am thinking i can get something in my lunch break and when i knock off at about 9pm ish. I only do small bits here and there though of 10 - 20 minutes, not too long in case i get called in for helping an old lady back in her bed, or cleaning up a patient, things do happen. I am glad there is also an open facility here for people who are not patients that can get free food here, its a good system here, its alot better, than other places i have worked in Africa before. Either way i did manage to get a good amount of exercise today.

But now i am coming off with the dilemma who does the better workout programs, i came to 3 of my favourites besides the staff of sparkpeople. They are between Jillian Michaels, Tiffany Rothe and Denise Austins. So which of the 3 has the better workout you think? Today i did a bit of all 3, cardio workouts, Rothe being the longest one, but i don't know which of the 3 is better, if i do ever decide to make a plan or program using their workouts. So feed back on these 3 would be great Sparkpeople readers of this blog !

So i also caught up on my blogs, my weekly blog, and those of finishing the week challenge blogs. Now i will do this blog and one more and have some relax time i guess. Play a game or something. I have a good laptop to be able to play online games on it, I was playing Perfect World International but got bored of it, now and then i play Vindictus Europe. If anyone plays those lets me know, maybe we could play together some time to relax and kill monsters. I have tried other online games in the past which were C9, Tera, WOW, Runescape, Allods RODE, Florensia, hero online, Archlord i played for a bit but somehow i didn't like them. I did like and play Guild Wars but it became too expensive to play so now i just do free to play online games.

November Goals

Well this week i started off with a movie, Today i watched Fired Up. Its a really prissy type movie, but the patients and nurses were watching it in the lounge so i watch it too, i had not seen or heard of this movie before nor do i know any of the actors/actresses in it, it isn't my type of movie, Its about lying and cheating and cheer leading. But there is a good moral to the story, you do not have to be the best but you can do better than what you had done before. I am going to stick to that! There are better cheer leading movies out there, Like i do enjoy Bring It on! Rest of my goals doing good!

Sparkpeople plan

Tracking nutrition and fitness and reading motivational quote is going well. And for the strategy it has to do with tracking, it sure is a time saver, for the nutrition tracker, typing in the food and finding the closest to it, if i do have the packaging of the values then i would enter in manual to get it more correct. I have also a group of foods i often use to get to make it more similar, i have made 2 groups so far. I also have many favourites for tracking too. With fitness i have also favourite of the ones i often do. It is nice that the 5K sheet when you enter you things there it automatically goes to the fitness page too. It is also nice that sparkpeople video you just use a click of a button, i wish you could do the same for you tube videos. Or that sparkpeople had some connection with you tube, since i do use it alot for things with sparkpeople. I enjoy looking at reports after a weigh in, check my lines for my weight and measurements, and also i check daily my calorie deferential. I have been telling my spark buddies what i have been doing too, this is really a great site and i have learnt so much , it is amazing, I was able to send some spark goodies today as i got some points to spend but now i have to work on it again to be able to do another good round of goodies. There should be some spark goodie points prizes to be won as spark goodie points on the wheel doesn't come often for me.

It is a great quote, for every problem there seems to be a solution just as a hammer is too a nail, some are easy solved like when the hammer hits it once to go in, sometimes it takes a few attempts at it, and sometimes it goes the wrong direction and you need to try again , it is funny how a simple thing like a hammer to a nail can be associated to life problems when you come to think of it lol.

    Great song choice & quote for the day!
I like the Jillian Michaels workouts but cannot tolerate her more than once or twice a week. I just find her annoying in anything other than small doses. Denise Austin is a classic, so I would trust her workouts, though I don't do any of hers. THe third I've not heard of before so no help to you there! Sorry!

Have you tried SPs Radio Programming yet? I just came across it yesterday. It's on the bottom of the Points Page, the Daily SparkPoints Challenge box. I like it.

I think I've heard of Fired Up but haven't seen it.
